Teaching Assistant and After School Club Lead – 2 days

TEACHING ASSISTANT AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUB LEADER

Kempsford CoE Primary School are looking for one person to take on two roles: Teaching Assistant and After School Club Leader two days per week (Monday and Thursday). We would provide a supportive and welcoming team, in a positive and caring school environment. There are opportunities for training and professional development within both roles.

Job Description: Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our small, nurturing team. This is a contract for a minimum of 11 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on the needs of the school and the successful applicant.

  • Is ideally qualified to Level 3 (although we are happy to support training)
  • Has experience supporting children with their learning, either individually or in small groups
  • Is nurturing, patient and motivated by helping children succeed
  • Works well as part of a team and has strong communication skills
  • Brings enthusiasm, energy, and a willingness to get involved in school life

Job Description: After School Club Leader

We require an enthusiastic and creative person to run our After School Club two afternoons per week. We would like someone to lead the After School Club; delivering activities to the children, ensuring that all children are safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences.

Ensuring the safe arrival of children at the club

  • Preparing and providing a snack for the children
  • Administering first aid as appropriate
  • Tidying the room and clearing away at the end of the club

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB LEADER (4 HOURS PER WEEK)

PART TIME, TERM TIME ONLY (38 WEEKS), FIXED TERM

 Grade 3 (pts 4-6) £24,796 – £25,989 pa pro rata

Teaching Assistant hours: 8:45am – 3:15pm every Monday and Thursday

After School Club Leader hours: 3:15pm – 5:15pm every Monday and Thursday
