Headteacher’s Message
At Kempsford Primary School we enable all children to be happy whilst reaching their full potential and developing a sense of self-worth within our Christian ethos. High expectations and Christian values help children to Respect, Improve, Succeed and Excel, forming the foundation for your child’s education and giving them confidence for their future.
We are delighted that 100% of the parents surveyed via Ofsted’s Parent View would recommend Kempsford Primary school to another parent (6th March 2017).
The number on roll (September 2021) is 80 and the children are grouped in four classes according to year group. Provision for pre-school children is also made within our Foundation Stage unit “The Hive” for children age 3 to 4 years.
During term time, the school provides child care outside of normal school hours through various clubs; from 7.45am – 8.45am Monday to Friday our Breakfast Club, and from 3.15 to 5.15, Monday to Friday in our After School Club. There are also a variety of other clubs that run at lunchtimes and from 15:15-16:15 daily.
The school is extremely well supported by Governors, the Friends of Kempsford, parents, the Church and the wider community.
Kempsford Primary School is part of a cluster of local Primary Schools, and we have strong ties with Farmor’s School, our local 11-18 Comprehensive in Fairford.
Whilst certain restrictions are in place due to Covid-19, Kempsford Primary is operating under guidelines that mean certain aspects of the school day are changed. Please ask for further details or read our latest Risk Assessment on our Key Information page.
Please look at OUR SCHOOL PROSPECTUS below under Admissions for a full overview of our school.
