A Wonderful Start to Spring!
What a lovely start to spring – hopefully, this wonderful weather continues!
We had a successful Mother’s Monday Service at the church. The children created a beautiful array of handmade flowers, which will be making their way home to you over the next few days.
At the beginning of March, Class 2 visited Down Ampney for a special Lent experience. This was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with other local schools while deepening our understanding of Easter.
Red Nose Day was a huge success, with some truly creative and wacky hairstyles on display! As a school, we raised £45.00.
A huge thank you to all the parents who ordered a Mother’s Day gift from The Friends of Kempsford. These delicious treats were much appreciated!
Looking ahead, our next event, organised by The Friends of Kempsford, will take place on Thursday 3rd April.
This week marks the exciting start of our willow sculpture project in the back garden. We hope your children will come home full of excitement after helping to build this amazing structure. Over the next few weeks, each class will have the opportunity to use this space for relaxation and outdoor learning.
Finally, a reminder about school drop-offs: please do not stop or park on the zigzag lines outside the school. These markings are there to ensure clear visibility for both approaching drivers and children crossing the road. Keeping this area clear helps to keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your continued support!
Warm regards,
Mrs Helen Seward
