Dear Parent/Guardian,
It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as Head Teacher of Kempsford Church of England Primary School. It is an absolute privilege to have been appointed by the school governors and entrusted with the job of leading the school. I am committed to the continued success of the school and will ensure that high expectations and standards are maintained, and with your support and the dedication and commitment of the staff, help every child achieve their ambitions.
I have been working in education for the last 12 years. This has primarily been in roles across Bristol and have led CPD in schools within the academy across the country. I have been on the safeguarding teams, led a range of subjects and organised parental engagement workshops. As you are probably aware already, I am keen to get parents involved with the school, as much as possible. Over the course of the year you will receive invites into classrooms, invites to read ‘mystery’ books with your child and write joint reviews and join us in celebrating whole school days/events. I hope that if you do not already, you will begin fully understand a day in the life of a child at Kempsford.
I have three young children myself, so fully understand the demands they place upon us as parents – whether that be their shoes are too small or the late night worries about issues that happened in the playground (they always seem to come out at bedtime in my house). I will always have an open door for a chat and will respond to queries, as soon as possible. Please do come and say hello.
Best regards,
Mrs Seward
