Kempsford School, at the heart of the community, provides equal access to the curriculum for all our pupils in a caring, well-resourced environment. We enable all children to be happy whilst reaching their full potential and developing a sense of self-worth within our Christian ethos. High standards and expectations form the foundation for your child’s education and gives them confidence for their future.

The number on roll (November 2015) is 84 and the children are grouped in three classes according to age. Kempsford Pre-School is situated on the School site and provides day care for children aged 2 to 4 years.

Kempsford is situated 2.5 miles south of the town of Fairford within easily travelling distance of the villages of Whelford, Castle Eaton, Marston Meysey and the southern part of Fairford and Horcott.

During term time, the school provides child care from 8.00-8.35am Monday to Friday in a ‘Wake and Shake’ Club, and from 3.15-6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 3.15-5.00pm on a Friday in our After School Club.

The School is extremely well supported by Governors, an active ‘Friends‘ association, parents, the Church and the wider community.

Kempsford School is part of a local cluster of Primary Schools, and we have strong ties with Farmor’s School, our local 11-18 Comprehensive at Fairford.
