Large Kempsford School Logo featuring RISE

Kempsford School, at the heart of the community, provides equal access to the curriculum for all our pupils in a caring, well-resourced environment. We enable all children to be happy whilst reaching their full potential and developing a sense of self-worth within our Christian ethos. High standards and expectations through our RISE (Respect, Improve, Succeed, Excel) vision form the foundation for your child’s education and gives them confidence for their future.  We are delighted that 100% of the parents surveyed via Ofsted’s Parent View would recommend Kempsford Primary school to another parent (6th March 17).

The number on roll (January 2017) is 82 and the children are grouped in three classes according to year group. Kempsford Pre-School is situated on the School site and provides day care for children aged 2 to 4 years.

During term time, the school provides child care outside of normal school hours through various clubs; from 08.00-08.35am Monday to Friday in a ‘Wake and Shake’ Club, and from 3.15-6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 3.15-5.00pm on a Friday in our After School Club. There are also a variety of other clubs that run at lunchtimes and from 15:15-16:15 daily.

The school is extremely well supported by Governors, an active ‘Friends‘ association, parents, the Church and the wider community.

Kempsford School is part of a local cluster of Primary Schools, and we have strong ties with Farmor’s School, our local 11-18 Comprehensive at Fairford.

We look forward to welcoming you at Kempsford Primary School, Please contact Mrs Carolyn Sleight or Mrs Kathy Gray in the school office on 01285 810367 or admin@kempsford.gloucs.sch.uk to arrange a visit.
