Kempsford School is at the heart of the community, and provides equal access to the curriculum for all pupils in a caring, well resourced environment. This enables all children to be happy, whilst reaching their full potential and developing a sense of self-worth within a Christian ethos. High standards and expectations, together with good academic achievement, are widely recognised and form a foundation for the next stage of education, and give the children confidence for their future.

The number on roll (September 2009) is 115 and the children are grouped in four classes according to age. Kempsford Pre-School is situated on the School site and provides day care for children aged 2 to 4 years.

The School is extremely well supported by Governors, an active 'Friends' association, parents, the Church and the wider community. There are strong links with the local RAF Fairford Air Base, and we welcome children from many of the USAF families stationed there.

Kempsford School is part of a local cluster of Primary Schools, and we have strong ties with Farmor's School, our local 11-18 Comprehensive at Fairford.
